When the first contact is made by e.mail or telephone, we will note your details and advise on availability. An individual quotation will then be prepared for you. We do not have pre prepared quotations, we favour the personal approach. Your quotation will set out the details as they have been described to us, along with a colour brochure and a booking form.
We always prefer people to view our vehicles in person and in this way you can be sure that the colour of the vehicles will co ordinate perfectly with those of your gown. It will also afford you the opportunity to sit in the vehicles and make certain that the vehicle has sufficient room to accommodate your Bridal train. Many of us have very busy schedules and we appreciate that it is not always convenient to visit and under such circumstances we can send glossy photos to you by mail or e.mail in order that you may gain a better appreciation of the true colour of the vehicle from the comfort of your own home.
When the final details have been decided and your booking is taken, we will send you a detailed confirmation describing the service we are to provide for you. All your details are kept on one detailed form ensuring that all of the information relating to your wedding are readily available.
At Distinctive Carriages we don’t leave anything to chance and carry out a rehearsal of the planned wedding route approximately one week before the date of your wedding. This ensures as far as is possible that there are no potential surprises which could confront us on the day.
Once your booking has been taken, your wedding vehicle is yours alone on that day, we do not use the same car for two weddings on any one day. This means that you will not be rushed in any way, irrespective of how long your photographs may take.
We pride ourselves on the service we provide to you and have an enviable reputation for detail and quality . Every wedding is followed by a questionnaire and asks for your comments on how you feel we have performed. It only takes a minute to complete and is accompanied with a stamped addressed envelope. The responses are available to view and we are justifiably proud of our record.
But it doesn’t end there, as part of our service to you we send you a bespoke First Anniversary card, just to let you know we are still thinking of you and wishing you continued happiness.

Each vehicle is fully equipped for any eventuality. Coordinated umbrellas are carried, just in case of inclement weather. We carry tissues and mints and what we call “Brides Reminders” to ensure that you are carrying everything you should have.
